Kristin Cantrell Parker was born in Greenville, South Carolina. Kristin attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, where she was a summa cum laude graduate, earning her baccalaureate degree in History and Political Science in 2002. While at Auburn, Kristin was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Golden Key Honor Societies. Kristin was also awarded the Distinguished Undergraduate History award in 2002 for her dedication to her Major discipline.

Kristin received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of South Carolina School of Law in December of 2004. Kristin was a perennial member of the Dean's List and a participant in the Inaugural Study Abroad Program at Gray's Inn in London.

Kristin was admitted to the Tennessee State Bar in April of 2005 and has recently accepted a position with Columbia, Tennessee law firm of Dubois, Dubois & Bates, P.C. Her area of practice will focus on commercial and residential acquisitions, lending transactions, planning and probate of estates, commercial law, and domestic relations.

Kristin currently resides in Columbia, Tennessee with her husband, Drew.
